About Our Facility
Laguna Shores Recovery is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to provide residential substance use disorder treatment and detox at our facility in Dana Point, and is accredited by The Joint Commission. Because detox and residential care are licensed at the same location, clients can safely withdraw from alcohol or drugs and continue directly into residential treatment without changing facilities. Before discharge, our team builds an aftercare plan and refers clients to trusted partial hospitalization (PHP) or intensive outpatient (IOP) programs when they need continued care.

His professional goal is to give each and every client the tools necessary to maintain a successful and sober lifestyle post treatment. Matthew uses a variety of clinical modalities and prefers a person-centered, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused approach to therapy.
